My weekend writing

 On the weekend, on Sunday I went to my grandparents retirement village  for my grans birthday after we had eaten. Our gran said follow me and we went up to the third story and there were so many Christmas decorations there were christmas trees,candy canes,lights,tinsel and lots more. Then on the second floor there were lights,and right in the middle there was a Santa on a ladder climbing down and at one apartment they were offering mints and on the first floor there was a giant tree covered in Christmas decorations then we packed up and left.

 On the weekend me and my friend made a minecraft map and we said we would ask our teacher if the class could play it on friday. Right now it is a block before the last block when we are going to play the map here are some photos.

Classroom weaving

 

Class weaving

On friday for science my class did weaving because me and my friend and

some other people did not know how to weave. So We went with our student

teacher outside to the school fale. The fale is our old stage but they put a roof

on it. So when we got there our student teacher said how to aline the four

pieces of paper we were given, then she started doing the steps when we

finished we went back to the classroom. The people that did it from a video

were still finishing there ones.

My missing cat

 Last night my cat was in a fight. when we woke up I didn't realise until my mum said have you seen Finnse I said no I haven't so then we looked all around our property and we could not find him then our neighbor said he would see if Finnse was in there backyard then he saw something dart across the back of there house to there driveway so we checked there but could not find him so our neighbor said he would go and check if he was there but when he was gone Finnse came to us so I went to go and him we had found our cat and that's how our cat went missing for 5 hours. 

First day of term four

 Wow term four already it went so fast but anyway let's start on my first day of term four. On the first day of term four I woke up really excited we still have meetings on our chromebooks but the time changed from 9:00am to 10:00am when I got on my meeting I said hi to my friends. Once the meeting started my teacher started talking about our new time table after the meeting I started doing my work once I had finished my work I just played fortnite

The level four drive

Today my mum and dad had to get the covid vaccine so we got ready this morning to go out south auckland I was so happy to go outside because we have been in lockdown so we couldn't go outside. When we got there it was really boring just waiting but when they were done they said we were going to drive around the area I was so excited. 

The long zoom

on saturday I had a zoom with my friends caleb and darcy we played our minecraft world it was a survival world and we found DIAMONDS we were so happy we played in the world longer then we decided we would make a world where all our friends could play on a smp so we made the base of the spawn and made it look like we have played in the world already then caleb left so it was just me and darcy then we played on a new world and almost bet the game! 

lockdown walk

 In lockdown me my sister and my dad went on a walk in the weekend first we walked to the park then I spotted a river so we followed it then we saw some ducks and fish we kept following the river but then it stopped. So we followed the path in the park until we found a bridge that we crossed.And I realised what street it was it was the street that led to a park super close to our house. on the way we saw a hedgehog it was just sitting in the middle of the road so we moved him onto the side of the road and went home.

Holiday go-karting

 In the term two holidays I went go-karting with my family my mum and dad didn't do it but me and my sister did. First we waited for our helmets and the call for us to go in to our karts my kart was 50 on my first race and my sister was 47 suddenly we started I wasn't going fast same as everyone else I was pushing so hard on the acceleration when suddenly I went super fast it had started! I started cutting corners and on the straight part my sister crashed and crashed everyone on the straight part excepted me because I swerved to the right then after that race we wanted to go home.

Term 2 recap

Today is the last day of the term and to celebrate it we wore our PJs to school.Then we are going to have a shared lunch,OK on to the recap. In term 2 in week 3 we did our ANZAC art with a cenquain poem on one side and ANZAC art on the other. This term we got minecraft education edition on our Chromebooks so we could play and learn at the same time.And in week 5 we did van Gogh art we painted his starring night painting and in the last week me Cyrus and Noah  made a working computer on scratch maybe you could try it to and in minecraft we made a sustainable cave  house with a tree farm that started from a single oak sapling we found in a mod spawner if you don't know what that is look to the left and we have a wheat farm and we have a nether portal and we all have a diamond picaxe 

Fraction posters

On Thursday for science we got put in our table teams and we were given a black A2 piece of paper and smaller pieces of paper to fold into fractions and glue them on the paper and we put fractions and equations on the side. On my table we had Cyrus,Ahmed,Keisha and Aaliyah maybe you could look at there blogs.

My bee experiment

 

Today at science me and my buddy were given a container, I realised on the side it said queen bumble bee but it was dead so we could look at it. My buddy was Marist the one on the left, maybe you could go and have a look at his blog.The bee smelt like out of date Vegemite, we had a magnifying glass and some tweezers. We got some work sheets and when we finished we got some more bees like a male bumble bee and a worker bee since we finished first. I liked it because we could look at the bee and describe it and we could work together.
